🍽️ Job Opportunity: Kitchen Assistants – Middlesbrough Area (Agency Work)

Berry Recruitment Darlington is currently registering agency kitchen assistants to cover temporary roles within schools in the Middlesbrough area.

These roles are as‑required, ideal for candidates looking to top up their regular hours or seeking flexible part‑time work.

🕒 Working Hours:
Typically 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM or 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, depending on the school’s requirements.

• Assisting with food preparation
• Serving meals to students and staff
• Washing up and cleaning kitchen equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas
• Following food hygiene and safety procedures
• Supporting the cook or catering team as needed
• Previous kitchen or catering experience preferred
• Driving licence and own transport preferred but not essential
• Must hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service (£13/year) – or be willing to pay £59.50 for a new Enhanced DBS
• Completion of online training:
