A leading educational institution in Greater Manchester is seeking a talented School Governance Professional to support two Local Governing Committees at Dean Trust Wigan & Dean Trust Rose Bridge. The role involves effective administration of meetings, providing procedural guidance, and maintaining records. Candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills, understanding of governance procedures, and a commitment to ongoing development. This is a part-time position, requiring 14 hours per week during term time.

Salary: Grade 7, £10,562.00 - £11,783.00 per annum.
14 hours per week, term time plus one week working 39 weeks per year.

The Dean Trust is seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic School Governance Professional to join our dedicated team at Dean Trust Wigan & Dean Trust Rose Bridge.
The Governance Professional for Wigan Learning Partnership plays a pivotal role in supporting the effective operation of two Local Governing Committees (LGCs) within The Dean Trust.
This role ensures high standards of governance through expert clerking, procedural guidance, and administrative support. Working closely with Headteachers, Chairs, and the Head of Governance, the Governance Professional facilitates meetings, maintains accurate records, and promotes best practices in governance, all while enabling governors to fulfil their statutory and strategic responsibilities effectively.
