Job summary

Job description

We are seeking a cleaner to join our busy Housekeeping team as soon as possible, working 2.5 hours each day after school and during school holidays. Experience of working is schools would be beneficial but is not essential.

Job Purpose

To clean areas of the school as directed by the Housekeeper, to the required standard. At least one year's previous experience would be beneficial. An ability to use cleaning machinery such as buffers is essential (full training will be provided).

Duties

  • Vacuuming carpet and wooden floor areas.
  • Dusting edges ledges and furniture.
  • Damp wiping of window sills edges and ledges.
  • Window cleaning.
  • Polishing of furniture pictures etc.
  • Buffing and burnishing.
  • Stocking up of toilet rolls and paper hand towels.
  • Any other jobs that might commensurate with the post.
