Job summary

A local educational institution located in Wales is seeking a motivated Caretaker/Cleaner to manage the upkeep of the school site. This part-time position requires a committed individual who can handle repairs, cleaning, and maintenance tasks effectively. Previous experience as a caretaker or in a similar role is desirable, along with DIY skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Regular hours include opening the school by 8:00am and closing at 5:00pm. An enhanced DBS disclosure is required for the role.

  • Employment Start Date: To be agreed The Governing Body at Ysgol Glan Aber are looking to appoint a multi-trades person, committed, enthusiastic and motivated Caretaker with Cleaning responsibility.

The successful candidate should be able to manage the day to day running of the school site, including repairs and maintenance.

We would love to hear from you if you are an experienced caretaker or ex-tradesperson.

DIY skills are desirable, as is the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.

The school building will need to be open by
8.00am and closed from
5.00pm.

Hours to be discussed and agreed.

We will provide the relevant safety equipment and ongoing training as required.
