The Vacancy

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Scheduler to join our Planned Works team in Tamworth. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth coordination of planned maintenance activities across our housing contracts, supporting our operatives and delivering excellent service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently schedule and manage planned maintenance works, ensuring operatives’ diaries are optimised for productivity and minimal travel.
  • Liaise with residents to confirm appointments, reschedule works, and provide updates on progress.
  • Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion in line with KPIs and client expectations.
  • Work closely with supervisors, contract managers, and customer service teams to resolve scheduling conflicts or access issues.
  • Maintain accurate records using our internal systems and ensure compliance with WPS procedures and client SLAs.
What We’re Looking For
  • Previous experience in a scheduling, coordination, or planning role, ideally within property services or housing maintenance.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A team player with a proactive attitude and attention to detail.
