Job summary

A leading IT services provider is seeking an SC Support Engineer for a mobile role across the South West UK. The successful candidate will provide IT support solutions to key clients and requires knowledge of Microsoft products, as well as effective communication skills. Experience in hardware break-fix is preferred but training will be provided. Candidates must hold or have held high-level security clearance.

  • Experience in a mobile IT support role preferred.
  • Knowledge of Win 7/10, Office365 is essential.
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills are crucial.

SC Support Engineer - South West (Mobile)

Contract role with a major client, mobile across the South West.

Role Details
  • Duration: Initially running until 31/12/2025 (extensions possible)
  • IR35: Inside
  • Rate: £18.87/hour
  • Location: The role is a mobile role and so own vehicle is essential to travel throughout the region, which spans from Worcester down the M5 covering off Gloucester, South West of the UK and South Wales
  • Security Clearance: SC
Skills / Experience
  • We are looking for a flexible, driven and enthusiastic individual to join our expanding mobile team.
  • The successful individual will need to be able to work as part of a team, whilst also on their own supporting a number of key clients with their IT support solutions.
  • Hardware break-fix competency and experience would be preferable, but training will be provided.
  • An in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft product suite is essential including Win 7/10 & 11 along with Office365.
  • Good customer facing skills and communication is crucial.
Hours
  • You would need to be open upon request to be part of an on-call rota if required.
