SC Cleared – Electrical Engineer (Audit)
Location: Preston
Role Status: Inside IR35
Rate: Up to £600 DOE
Length: Rolling Contract

I am currently working with a leading nuclear organisation who are looking for somebody to manage their Operational Technical (OT) at a Nuclear Power Plant. The focus of this role is to carry out audits in relation to assets and report them back, highlighting any exposure.

They are looking for an individual who has heavily focused in Electrical as you will be responsible for isolation procedures, electrical supply e.g. you will be asked Satisfaction: open cabinets that have live electrical feeds.

Your Background:

• Background as an Engineer who can go onsite and carry out audits looking at:
  • SCADA Systems
  • PC’s within cabinets
  • Physical hardware that is onsite that is not connected to their network that software or tooling cannot identify
• Current SC clearance
• Background working within Nuclear – ideally on‑site at a plant
• Strong Electrical background
• Fully understand the clear difference of OT &world IT – this role is Operational Technology (core principles of OT are Availability, Integrity & Safety)
