Job summary

A leading IT Consultancy is seeking an SC Cleared Azure Cloud Engineer to support cloud and infrastructure services in a remote setting. This hands-on role involves monitoring systems, assisting with incident resolution, and working with modern technologies while collaborating with project teams. The ideal candidate has expertise in Azure and Windows Server, along with SC Clearance. Additionally, there will be opportunities to deepen technical skills and gain exposure to enterprise-scale cloud systems.

Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure, particularly IaaS and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments (2012 R2 – 2022).
• Good understanding of Active Directory and core infrastructure services (DNS, DHCP, GPO).
• Basic knowledge of virtualisation platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Some scripting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support cloud and infrastructure services in Azure and on-prem environments.
• Assist in resolving incidents and service requests escalated from the Service Desk.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to maintain secure and resilient systems.
• Monitor systems to ensure performance, availability, and compliance with SLAs.
• Update and maintain support documentation and technical runbooks.
• Support the transition of new systems from project teams into BAU.
