Our client, a leader in the technology and retail sectors, is currently seeking a SAP Retail Functional Consultant - Master Data for a contract position. This role involves leading functional activities for the inbound end-to-end integration of master data to SAP. The successful applicant will gather requirements, manage architecture dependencies, coordinate with legacy system teams, and ensure successful delivery of article integration into SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering requirements and defining high‑level requirements for design E2E Master data integration
• Planning timelines along with system test cycles
• Aligning scope and delivery dates using JIRA
• Preparing High‑Level Design (HLD), Field Mapping Document (FMD), and Functional Design Document (FDD) for article integration and approval
• Overseeing inbound integration of master data into SAP
• Validating master data flow into SAP during SIT and UAT phases
• Coordinating with the legacy team for high‑level requirements
• Managing SAP dependencies on architecture E2E design and related streams MDG, BTP
• Engaging with stakeholders, including solution architects and technical leads, and providing updates on progress and risks

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SAP Retail master data lifecycle processes
• Experience in inbound integration of SAP Retail master data, including strong implementation experience with MDG
• Proficiency in interface design, functional documentation, and integration testing
• Familiarity with JIRA and dependency tracking
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and manage manual and integration deliverables
• Experience in supporting SIT and UAT phases, including validation of master data flow into SAP
