Job Overview

We're making a significant investment in pricing capability with a comprehensive pricing transformation programme. This includes the implementation of new pricing software, market‑leading modelling, and performance monitoring approaches. Our pricing structure focuses on technical pricing, market pricing and pricing governance. As a result, several vacancies have arisen, requiring strong data science, actuarial and governance skills. If you have knowledge of pricing, underwriting, claims and other drivers of performance, this could be the role for you.

Responsibilities
  • Rolling out retention initiatives into front line teams, implementing changes as needed.
  • Delivering new business initiatives into Sales and Operational teams, making changes as needed.
  • Making sound risk underwriting decisions for non‑complex individual and SME referrals in line with relevant underwriting guides and agreed timelines.
  • Building strong relationships with other Pricing teams, Distribution and Servicing colleagues.
  • Ensuring the customer impact is considered in all risk underwriting decisions, ensuring fair treatment of customers.
Qualifications
  • Experience of pricing, underwriting, claims and other key drivers of performance.
  • Understanding of the regulatory environment in which AXA Health operates.
  • Appreciation of dynamics of large organisations.
  • Strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel preferred.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Self‑motivated.

Location and Working Arrangements

Remote work available: At least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Offices in Tunbridge Wells or Bournemouth, visiting clients or attending industry events.
