Job summary

A leading consultancy firm in the UK is looking for an experienced SAP Finance Project Manager to lead finance transformation projects. This hybrid role will encompass managing scope, timelines, and budgets while ensuring successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in SAP projects, strong governance, and stakeholder management skills. This position offers a competitive salary that ranges from £90k to £100k for a 6-month fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a SAP Project Manager with strong Finance process knowledge.
• Hands-on experience delivering SAP Finance modules (FI / CO, AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets).
• Strong governance, RAID management, and project leadership capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SAP Finance projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and risks.
• Work closely with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Coordinate functional and technical teams to ensure alignment across finance processes and integrations.
• Oversee testing, data migration, cutover planning, and readiness activities.
• Produce project documentation, status reporting, and provide clear stakeholder communication.

Salary : c. £90–100k base

Location : UK (hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of SAP Finance projects, managing scope, timelines, budgets, and risks.
• Work closely with Finance stakeholders (R2R, P2P, OTC, FP&A) to gather requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
• Coordinate functional and technical teams to ensure alignment across finance processes and integrations.
• Oversee testing, data migration, cutover planning, and readiness activities.
• Produce project documentation, status reporting, and provide clear stakeholder communication.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a SAP Project Manager with strong Finance process knowledge.
• Hands-on experience delivering SAP Finance modules (FI / CO, AP, AR, GL, Fixed Assets).
• Strong governance, RAID management, and project leadership capability.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to work with senior Finance and IT leaders.
