Role Description

To provide structured and proactive support to the business development team by managing governance processes, coordinating RFP responses, maintaining CRM data in MS Dynamics, and preparing high-quality meeting materials. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth execution of strategic sales activities and enabling the commercial team to focus on client engagement and deal progression.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Process Coordination

  • Support the implementation and tracking of governance frameworks across business development activities.

  • Ensure documentation, approvals, and compliance requirements are met for strategic deals and partnerships.

  • Maintain accurate records of governance actions and decisions.

RFP & Proposal Support

  • Coordinate the end-to-end RFP response process, including timelines, stakeholder contributions, and submission quality.

  • Liaise with product, legal, compliance, and marketing teams to gather required inputs.

  • Maintain a library of reusable content and templates to streamline future responses.

CRM Management (MS Dynamics)

  • Ensure all sales activities, opportunities, and client interactions are accurately recorded in MS Dynamics.

  • Support data hygiene, reporting, and dashboard creation for business development performance tracking.

  • Assist in pipeline reviews and forecasting processes.

Meeting Preparation & Materials

  • Prepare briefing packs, presentations, and client-facing materials for business development meetings.

  • Coordinate scheduling, agenda setting, and follow-up actions.

  • Ensure materials are tailored to client needs and aligned with strategic objectives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with business development directors and product owners to support campaign and deal execution.

  • Provide administrative and operational support for strategic account planning.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales support processes and tools.

Sales Strategy

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of regional business and competitor landscape including strengths, weaknesses and coverage.

  • Contribute innovative ideas that anticipate, and address client needs.

Platform Configuration

  • Implement data validation rules and automation within MS Dynamics to improve accuracy and reduce manual errors.

Business Development

  • Train team members on CRM best practices to ensure consistent usage and data integrity.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in sales support, commercial operations, or bid management, ideally within FinTech or financial services.

  • Proficiency in MS Dynamics or similar CRM platforms.

  • Experience coordinating RFPs and working with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organised.

  • Proactive and responsive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong collaborator with excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Commercially aware and client-focused.

  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
