Sales Planning & Reporting Lead
Role Overview

Reporting to the Head of Motorcycle Sales & Business Management, the Sales Planning & Reporting Lead plays a critical role in supporting commercial decision-making and driving business performance. The role focuses on delivering insightful analysis, accurate forecasting, and efficient reporting processes. This position ensures consistent, reliable, and strategically aligned market data to support senior leadership and regional sales teams across Europe.

Main Responsibilities
Sales Reporting & Analysis
  • Lead the consolidation of monthly sales and market performance reports from multiple European markets, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain unified reporting standards, KPIs, and analytical frameworks used across all regions.
  • Support senior management with regular performance reviews, providing data-driven insights on market trends, share development, and sales efficiency.
  • Deliver analytical support for sales campaigns, incentive programs, and product launches.
  • Contribute to pricing, mix, and volume strategy discussions through data-driven insights and scenario modeling.
Market Forecasting & Planning
  • Oversee preparation of market forecasts and performance outlooks as part of the budget planning process.
  • Conduct strategic market analysis, including competitor activity, customer trends, and product performance, to support resource allocation and future planning.
  • Consolidate market inputs into a cohesive regional perspective for mid-term planning activities (e.g., MTP).
Process Improvement & Tool Development
  • Lead initiatives to enhance data quality, reporting efficiency, and forecasting accuracy across regional teams.
  • Identify and implement best practices in data management, visualization, and process automation.
  • Collaborate with Business Planning and Finance to ensure reporting tools and processes align with governance standards and business requirements.
Leadership & Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for regional sales teams regarding sales reporting, data governance, and forecast accuracy.
  • Provide training and guidance on reporting standards, analytical methodologies, and data interpretation.
  • Build strong relationships across diverse markets to drive consistency and alignment in sales planning processes.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Required
  • Experience in sales planning, business analysis, or commercial operations, ideally within the motorcycle, automotive, or wider mobility manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of European markets and sales operations, including retail, wholesale, and registration flows.
  • Proven experience managing cross-country reporting or data governance initiatives.
  • Advanced analytical and data management skills; high proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and ERP/CRM platforms (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities, with confidence operating across culturally diverse teams.
  • Ability to think flexibly and introduce new, innovative processes and solutions.
  • Fluency in English; additional European languages are an advantage.
