Job description

I am working with a leading UK precision engineering and injection‑moulding specialist. This company delivers full end‑to‑end solutions from concept design and prototyping through to toolmaking, manufacturing, and assembly. With ISO‑certified quality, modern facilities across two sites, and a diverse global customer base, they're known for technical excellence, innovation, and reliable, high‑quality production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure new injection moulding business and support the Sales Director with high‑quality new customer leads
  • Manage and develop new accounts, driving sustainable sales growth and increased turnover
  • Agree on quotation pricing, carry out price checks, and present quotations to prospective customers
  • Travel across the UK to meet customers, with occasional attendance at trade shows and industry events
  • Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies aligned with business objectives
Qualifications & Ideal Background
  • Experience in sales within the plastics/injection moulding industry
  • Strong technical and commercial awareness, with the ability to translate complex requirements into customer solutions
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Sales or Engineering qualification (or equivalent experience)
  • Solid understanding of the injection moulding process and/or tooling
  • Experience supplying to a variety of sectors
  • Proven track record in B2B technical sales, ideally within injection moulding or a closely related manufacturing environment
