Overview

Join one of the UK’s most established and highly rated leisure marine companies, renowned for its sailing heritage and strong racing pedigree. This is a dynamic role combining sales administration, logistics, and shipping management, offering the chance to work across multiple areas of the business and make a real impact.

In this role, you will support the UK sales team with day-to-day administration, act as a first point of contact for customers, and ensure the smooth flow of orders and stock. You’ll also oversee shipping arrangements for domestic and international transport, liaising with carriers and internal teams to ensure timely dispatch and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of the sales order process and supporting the sales team with administrative tasks.
  • Acting as first point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
  • Managing inter-company orders and assisting with dispatch as needed.
  • Maintaining marketing databases and assisting with marketing tasks.
  • Coordinating with planning, purchasing, and credit control to resolve stock shortages and back-orders.
  • Overseeing shipping arrangements, preparing export paperwork, and liaising with carriers.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain management, with strong organisational, communication, and IT skills. A background in the leisure marine industry or active sailing is a bonus.
