The Company

A dynamicand innovative B2Bmedia corporation with a number of market leading brands serving the advertising, marketing, film and cinemaindustries (among others). They have a supportive, motivated and happy sales environment and they are looking for Sales Director to manage a UK and international team.

The role ofSales Director

The prime aim of this role is to manage, develop and lead a high performance sales team to over deliver on team revenue targets on this clients` portfolio of marketing solutions and events. It will involve selling to an international client base in addition to producing marketing and sales reports reflecting on current performance of the UK and international teams. You will also have the ability to launch new products, working to key timelines and profit targets. This is only a small proportion of this role but you can be assured of daily challenges and will receive fantastic benefits for your hard work.

The Requirements for thisSales Director position
  • An energetic person with strong motivational skills.
  • A proven track record of outperforming budgets/targets
  • Experience selling multi-platform solutions including, print, online, awards, conferences and other bespoke solutions
  • Experience of trouble shooting and ability to turn products around
  • Experience working with clients directly is essential
  • Experience of working in a B2B publishing environment is preferred
  • A strong ability around numbers including, forecasting, analysing trends, identifying problems early
  • Ability to create, own and deliver an ambitious business plan to assist the company in accelerating its growth objectives
  • A stable career history
