Overview

Job Title: Sales & Customer Service Executive

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (35 hour week with 1 hour lunch break)

Location: South Birmingham

Our client is a long-established, highly regarded business that designs and supplies specialist products across the UK. With a strong reputation for quality and service, they are now looking for a Sales & Customer Service Executive to join their team at their Birmingham offices.

The Role

Supporting the Northern Area Sales Manager, you will play a key part in keeping sales and customer service processes running smoothly. Duties will include:

  • Processing sales orders accurately using Sage
  • Liaising with the warehouse to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently
  • Handling incoming calls and emails, delivering excellent customer service
  • Building strong relationships with the dealer network
  • Following up on sales enquiries and opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate records of orders and customer interactions
  • Working closely with colleagues to resolve queries and improve processes

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident, professional, and keen to learn
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritising in a busy office
  • A clear communicator, both written and verbal
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) – Sage knowledge is a bonus but not essential
  • Previous experience in sales support, customer service, or administration is preferred
