Overview

IKEA Milton Keynes are looking to welcome Sales Assistants to join our team. A Sales Assistant at IKEA supports customers by offering helpful advice, keeping the sales area well stocked and organised, and ensuring products are clearly displayed and easy to buy while delivering a friendly, positive shopping experience.

What we offer
  • The Start Date of employment will be: 27th of February
  • Competitive hourly rate of £14.15 per hour.
  • Contracts range from 20–30 hours per week, worked over 4–5 days depending on contract size. Availability is required for weekday day shifts, evenings, and both weekend days, with every 4th weekend off.

What you’ll be doing day to day
  • You provide an inspirational shopping experience for our customers by actively approaching them to identify their needs and advising them on the best solutions for their life at home.
  • You are always enthusiastic about the range, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
  • You support maximising sales by ensuring your area of responsibility is clean, fully stocked, all products priced, well presented and easy to shop. Some products may involve heavy lifting.
