Sales Account Manager – Wolverhampton – Up to £40,000

As part of continued growth, our client is seeking a Sales Account Manager to join the team. This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, self-management, and a strong focus on generating new business. You will be the main point of contact for prospective and existing clients and will be responsible for converting quotes into profitable business.

Working hours:

08:00 – 17:00 – Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively seek, develop, and secure new business opportunities
  • Make outbound telesales calls and generate leads
  • Conduct cold calling to identify potential clients
  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts, promoting up‑sell opportunities
  • Manage new accounts with the aim of becoming the sole logistics supplier
  • Provide quotations and oversee operational aspects of Sea, Air, and European Road freight
  • Build a strong client base and maintain long‑term relationships
  • Promote the company’s brand and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Conduct regular client check‑ins and account reviews
Candidate Requirements:
  • Experience in sales or operations within Air & Sea freight (Must have)
  • Must have right to work (No sponsorship on offer)
  • Strong commercial acumen and customer service orientation
  • Highly self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial approach
  • Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to build and manage a sales pipeline independently
  • Comfortable working autonomously and managing time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Driven and enthusiastic with a passion for providing client solutions
