About the role

You will champion our market-leading Intelligent Automation platform, helping organizations revolutionize business processes and IT operations with cutting-edge AI-driven automation. Your primary focus will be driving business growth within the Public Sector in the Manchester area, building lasting relationships, and delivering measurable impact. You will report to the Regional VP, Sales.

Responsibilities
  • Taking ownership of business bookings within the Public Sector and driving growth by identifying and pursuing revenue-generating opportunities, managing sales pipelines, and executing account strategies to secure large enterprise‑level deals.
  • Conducting customer meetings and presentations—lead on-site and remote meetings, delivering compelling presentations and product demonstrations to marketing-qualified leads, showcasing the value proposition and aligning to prospects’ strategic business challenges.
  • Generating leads through events—attend tradeshows and industry events to generate leads and foster relationships with potential clients.
  • Providing technical expertise—deliver standard and customized product demonstrations with the Sales Engineering team, address technical inquiries, and interface with client technical teams to present architecture and tailor discussions.
  • Executing Proof of Concept exercises—collaborate with sales engineers to manage and execute PoCs, showcasing capabilities through live demonstrations tailored to the prospect’s needs.
  • Leading Public Sector responses—coordinate responses with internal teams to deliver comprehensive proposals that meet client requirements.
  • Coordinating solution design—work with technical support, engineering, and service resources to ensure alignment between solution design and client business requirements for seamless integration and deployment.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in the Public Sector managing an existing customer base and driving expansion bookings to achieve or exceed annual sales quota.
  • 7+ years of full sales cycle experience within the Computer Software Industry, with a strong emphasis on generating new business opportunities.
  • Ideal experience includes exposure to Agentic Process Automation (APA) and/or related automation technologies.
  • Ability to travel 25% to 50% of time to engage with customers, attend events, and represent the company.
  • Knowledge of enterprise software architecture and technologies; knowledge of business process management; consultative selling including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, trial closing, objection handling, and closing.
  • High energy with the ability to excel in an entrepreneurial, fast-changing environment.
  • Experience with channel partners such as Big 4 advisories and leading System Integrators; solid computer knowledge including Salesforce; ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
