A regional healthcare provider in Shrewsbury seeks a dynamic GP to work within a friendly medical practice. An exciting opportunity to join ourclinical team, working across two sites, in our 7-doctor practice comprising 5 Partners, 2 salaried GPs and ACPs, based in rural Shropshire, just south of Shrewsbury.
We are looking foran enthusiastic, professional, hardworking, team player, for 6 sessions perweek. Salary negotiable dependant on experience, will include payment for study leave (1.11 sessions paid per session worked).
We are a Tier 2 sponsoring organisation and a training practice.

We are looking for a dynamic, professional and friendly GP to join our practice team to continue to deliver the high standard of clinical care we currently provide.
The post holder must be dedicated, responsible, and driven to contribute to the innovative and forward thinking practice direction, and be a key team player.
They must have an awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. safeguarding, prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety etc.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential.
Contract:
Mix of routine work, some on-call, working across two sites
15 minutes appointments
Monday to Friday
Some evening and weekend may be required occasionally
Flexibility around start and end times essential
Salary: dependent on experience
Pontesbury & Worthen Medical Practice is a developing and growing practice with two sites, situated in the rural villages of Pontesbury and Worthen, just south of Shrewsbury providing medical care for approximately 10500 patients. We are a forward thinking team, keen to adopt and progress innovative ideas and solutions whilst providing excellent clinical care. We are a Dispensing practice. We are a training practice.

Duties and Responsibilities
The duties of the post are to provide a full range of generalmedical services as contained within the GMS contract
The post holder is expected to support the Partners of Pontesbury& Worthen Medical Practice in providing all services outlined in the GMSCore Contract and also in the aims and objectives of the Practice
The post holder is expected to support and input into the aimsof the practice in areas of clinical governance, good practice, qualityoutcomes framework, enhanced services, practice audit, referral review and anyother improvement plans as determined by the practice.
The post holder is encouraged to utilise and develop anyadditional skills for the improvement of services to patients.
The post holder is expected to maintain and keep good standardsof computerised clinical records at all times. Full involvement in any practicetraining and ongoing requirements of our status as a paperless practice isexpected.
The post holder is expected to maintain and keep goodstandards of timekeeping and paperwork.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
