A leading health service provider is seeking a part-time dental professional in Cheltenham. The role involves providing NHS dental treatment and preventative care while ensuring the quality and safety standards. Applicants will benefit from an NHS pension, further training opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
At Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust (GHC), we provide joined‑up mental health, physical health and learning disability services to people of all ages across Gloucestershire. We run community hospitals and provide care and support in people’s own homes and in a range of other locations across the county. Our mission is to enable people to live the best life they can and we have a vision to work together to provide outstanding care. We put people at the heart of our services, focusing on personalised care by asking ‘what matters to you’ and we are passionate about making sure that everyone can contribute to achieving our goal.
Our application process aims to understand each candidate’s knowledge, skills and experience. We have found that candidates that use AI to generate their answers can lack specificity and fail to address key criteria outlined in the job description. It is really important to personalise your application to convey your individual skills, knowledge, and experiences effectively and for us to understand why you are applying for this role with GHC. We discourage over‑reliance on AI‑generated applications as it will lessen your chances of success in securing an interview with us.
This role is offered on a permanent basis. The hours are part‑time, 15 hours per week. An exciting opportunity to join an award‑winning salaried dental team, working in a well‑equipped dental practice located in the spa town of Cheltenham.

Motivated supportive team: Springbank Dental Clinic benefits from a Lead Dental Nurse who is present on site every day, supported by a Senior Lead Clinician. The post holder will also be supported by the wider specialist Community Dental Service.
Career development: Funded internal and external mandatory training to maintain your CPD. A dedicated study budget to allow for career development. Whilst having clinical independence the post involves regular interaction with the specialist dental service at training events, peer review sessions, audit and team meetings.
Financial benefits: Salaried post that is not subject to UDA targets, no lab bills and uniform is provided. Post holder will benefit from an NHS pension and paid annual leave.
Looking after you: sick pay, occupational health support and advice including counselling, vaccinations, stress control and resilience, physio and psychological support.
