Woodend Hospital - Ward Housekeeper - Band 2. Links Unit Woodend Hospital, Aberdeen, is a 22 bedded mixed rehabilitation unit caring for individuals who have undergone amputation or who are recovering from an orthopaedic injury/surgery. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills to perform this role safely and efficiently. The successful applicant will join a well motivated and dynamic multidisciplinary team who strive to deliver the highest level of care possible.
To work as a Housekeeper within the Links Unit, using your own initiative and actively developing the role to meet the needs of the department. Please note: the description reflects the duties and standards expected of the post as part of the patient care environment.
Enthusiastic, dynamic, caring and compassionate with a keen interest in Patient Rehabilitation. Self-motivated and committed to delivering high quality patient‑focused care. Experience within a clinical setting is desirable, although not essential, as supervision and orientation will be provided.

A requirement of this post is to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to appointment.
