Job description
Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist to join the acute and community teams at Homerton Healthcare.

This post would be suitable for either a newly qualified Physiotherapist or an experienced Band 5 Physiotherapist who wishes to gain experience within a diverse and friendly rotation programme across health and social care service providers in City and Hackney.

The advert may close earlier if a sufficient number of suitable applications are received. The interview process will include a written test and a face-to-face interview with one of the questions having a practical element to it.

Responsibilities / Rotations
  • Participate in six-month rotations across elderly care, surgery rehabilitation, acute rehabilitation and respiratory management in medical wards and ITU, acute stroke, neurological rehabilitation (RNRU), consultant outpatient services, GP referral outpatient services, rapid response admissions avoidance and home treatment, adult community rehabilitation, adult cardiorespiratory services and community paediatrics.
  • Work within acute and community teams to support patient care and service delivery.
  • Receive supervision from senior staff and access a range of in-house training opportunities.
Training & Support
  • Rotations are six months to support clinical and systems learning within each area.
  • Participants will be supported by senior staff and have access to regular clinical supervision.
