Overview

PREVIOUS APPLICANTS NEED NOT APPLY Berkshire Healthcare are seeking an organised and motivated person for a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist role.

Be part of our dynamic and exciting band 5 Physiotherapy rotation. Working in a community setting is incredibly rewarding getting the chance to help people stay in their local community and achieve their potential. We offer excellent In-service training, including one to one clinical development on each rotation participating in a robust teaching programme. Alongside this you will receive peer and management support as well as other development opportunities.

Responsibilities and development
  • Develop your skills in musculoskeletal outpatients, including working with Advanced Practice Physiotherapists.
  • Fine tune your rehabilitation skills on Inpatients and follow on to Intermediate Care rotations where you can progress your discharge planning whilst keeping patients independent at home and avoiding them being admitted to hospital.
  • You will enhance your clinical and managerial skills with support from local teams and a Band 5 mentor.
  • You will participate in extensive Inservice training and developmental programmes to enhance your skills.
  • You will work within our multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless and effective care for our patients.

Essential criteria
  • To work as a rotational physiotherapy practitioner to provide a high quality, responsive physiotherapy service within the community, inpatients or outpatients departments across Berkshire
  • To provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and caseload management
  • To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner working with appropriate supervision
