Qualifications

• Broad base of clinical experience obtained through practice education.
• Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Experience in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic assessments of patients with diverse conditions.
• Hold responsibility for own caseload and work without direct supervision.
• Supervise work experience students and contribute to evidence-based work.

Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and treatment techniques

IT skills including word processing and email

Education

Dip COT or BSc (Hons) in OT

HCPC registration or student

Evidence of Continual Professional Development

Membership of BAOT/COT
