Overview

Roadside Vehicle Technician

Location: you will have a geographical area based on where you live so this isn’t crucial. This opportunity is covering the Heathrow area

Salary: £53,720 basic plus overtime. Overall earnings can be as high as £58,000 depending on how much time you’re willing to do.

Hours: a 40-hour working week with the earliest start time 6am and latest finish time 2am. Rota is posted 14 days prior to shifts; changes may occur with up to 72 hours’ notice.

Role responsibilities

• Working closely with the breakdown team you will be tasked with attending breakdowns to diagnose issues. You will work on the vehicles to ideally get them back on the road or ensure the vehicle goes back to the workshop
• Identifying problems and advising the customer on the vehicle’s issues
• Vehicle servicing and general maintenance including electrical and vehicle diagnostics
• Mobile Vehicle Technician / Roadside Technician are the face of the business, so delivering exceptional customer service is essential

Requirements

• We are ideally looking for a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician, but this is not essential; however you must be Level 2 qualified at minimum
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Have a strong all round technical experience – maintenance, technical, electrical, and diagnostic experience
