The role includes managing fleet activities, coordinating deliveries, ensuring vehicle maintenance and complying with road safety, transport and logistics regulations.

How you create impact

• Pre brief and de-brief drivers on their daily runs.
• Liaise with drivers, regional partners and customers while vehicles are on the road over collection and delivery issues.
• Record collection/delivery status and discrepancies in dotnet and elevate where appropriate.
• Move freight between runs to ensure failed collections are minimised.
• Recover increased costs and lost revenue through correct administration.
• Administrate all transport runs to the correct standard, eliminating disruption and additional workflows for other teams.
• Contribute to a safe working environment through the application of all relevant safety process and recognised safe methods of working.
• Maintain and improve customer and interdepartmental communication and working relationships.
• Co‑operate with colleagues to improve productivity and deliver excellent service.
