A regional health service in Hove is seeking an RM Nurse for the CAMHS Eating Disorder Day Treatment Service. This is a maternity leave cover position for 15 hours per week, focusing on supporting young people through a comprehensive treatment program. Candidates should have NMC registration, experience in Eating Disorder Services, and strong leadership skills. The role offers a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment.

Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking to recruit a passionate, knowledgeable and dynamic senior nurseto join our new CAMHS Eating Disorder Day Service.
The clinical model is in development and will be based on the highly acclaimed Maudsley Intensive Treatment programme. The service will have capacity to support 10 young people each day. Key service aims include:
You would be part of an MDT, consisting of Nursing, Psychology, Dietician, Support Workers, Medics and Occupational Therapists.
Knowledge of Eating Disorders and CAMHSis preferrable.
The successful candidate would be responsible for leading the day-to-day coordination of the unit as well as providing specialist nursing assessment, formulation and care planning. All members of the MDT will be trained in the Maudsley model of Family Therapy and form part of a care team delivering this intervention. There will also be one to one work with young people
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team providing individual and groupwork and will provide supervision and professional support to relevant colleagues. You will support service development through service evaluation and audit, as well as bringing new insights through research and keeping up to date with developments in the field.
Ideally you will have prior experience of working with eating disorders and experience of using therapeutic models associated with this client group.

REQUIREMENTS
To be a successful Senior Nurse Practitioner in our team you will be:
It is preferrable for applicants to have experience of working in Eating Disorder Services and/ or CAMHS although not essential
You must be able to demonstrate a caring, compassionate and non-judgmental attitude, and show a commitment to making a difference when supporting young people and their families on their recovery journeys
Flexible working will be considered in line with the Trust policy. Due to the nature of the service and interventions we provide, staff are required to be on site daily, with some opportunity to hybrid work on an adhoc basis
