Overview

Risk Lawyer - Mat Cover — London (Hybrid working). 12 month FTC. Salary up to £95k.

We're currently working with a fabulous international law firm looking for a risk and compliance lawyer to join their Global Compliance function. This role is a maternity cover and is looking for someone for 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified lawyer to work with an incredible global compliance function, learn from leaders in the space and gain great experience.

The Role
  • Support the Head of Risk, COLP and Risk & Compliance Partner on day-to-day risk queries
  • Advise on the SRA Code of Conduct, professional standards, ethics, data protection, supplier contracts, and conflicts
  • Analyse conflict reports and resolve complex queries (On a global scale)
  • Draft, review, and update terms of engagement with clients, and third parties globally
  • Identify new and changing regulatory requirements and their impact across the firm
  • Build and maintain risk policies, procedures and systems across the global compliance function
  • Contribute risk-related training and knowledge sharing
About you
  • Qualified Lawyer
  • Minimum 2 years experience in legal compliance - International experience needed
  • Strong knowledge of SRA Code of Conduct
  • Generalist knowledge across data protection, AML, Sanctions, Bribery & Corruption, Modern Slaveryy and more
