A healthcare organisation in Wrexham is seeking a skilled medical secretary to provide high quality administrative support to clinical teams. The successful applicant will have significant audio typing experience and knowledge of NHS organisations and medical terminology. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth patient pathway and delivering accurate administrative services in a busy office environment. Strong IT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
To support the co-ordination of the administration arrangements to provide a high quality supportive secretarial service to the consultant, medical and nursing team. To work independently and be accountable for organising/prioritising own workload to ensure deadlines are achieved. To support the facilitation of the patients along a defined pathway.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
An accurate, confidential and supportive administration/ secretarial service for patients, clinical teams, carers and internal and external agencies (e.g. Local Authority, Third Sector, CAIS) in order to: Provide a safe and efficient patient pathway and provide information and appropriate support to families and carers.
The post holder will support the delivery of a comprehensive high quality medical secretarial and administrative service.
The post holder will be expected to have high level secretarial and audio typing skills with the ability to deliver a service accurately at speed.
