Job Title : Reward Associate
Location : London (4 days a week on site)
Position Overview
Catalyst Partners have partnered with a leading Financial Services firm on the search for a Reward Associate. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality compensation insights, benchmarking, and modelling to support reward decisions across the firm. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail‑oriented reward professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, commercial environment and who is confident dealing with sensitive and complex reward data.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation Analytics & Benchmarking
- Conduct market benchmarking using external surveys and data providers, with a focus on investment, deal, and portfolio roles.
- Analyse compensation trends across the financial services and private equity markets to inform reward recommendations.
- Prepare and maintain internal compensation databases and dashboards.
Annual Reward Cycle
- Support the annual compensation review process, including salary, bonus, carried interest, and long‑term incentive planning.
- Produce modelling, scenario planning, and compensation cost analysis for senior stakeholders.
- Quality‑check reward data and ensure accuracy in compensation cycle tools and processes.
Data & Reporting
- Provide timely and accurate reward‑related reporting for HR, Finance, and senior leadership teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements (e.g., gender pay reporting, regulatory remuneration codes where applicable).
- Maintain strong data privacy and confidentiality standards.
Reward Projects
- Support global or regional reward projects, including benefit reviews, job levelling, pay structure development, and technology implementation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of reward processes and systems.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- Experience in a Reward Analyst or Compensation Analyst role within financial services, private equity, or a similar data‑driven environment.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with advanced Excel capability (pivot tables, lookups, modelling).
- Comfortable with large datasets and maintaining data accuracy in high‑stakes environments.
- Strong communication skills, able to present insights clearly to non‑technical audiences.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Desirable
- Experience supporting compensation cycles and incentive plan administration.
- Familiarity with carried interest and private equity remuneration structures.
- Knowledge of HRIS, compensation systems, or data visualisation tools.
- Degree in a numerate or business‑related field, or professional HR qualification.
