Revit Technician

Altera Recruitment Group is partnered with a forward-thinking engineering consultancy specialising in survey design and Building Information Modelling (BIM). The consultancy combines technical expertise with cutting-edge technology and BIM modelling to deliver innovative efficient and sustainable solutions.

The Revit Technician will support the structural and civil engineering team by producing accurate Revit models and detailed structural drawings ensuring design quality and consistency across projects. The role may involve visiting sites for inspections and surveys assisting in developing departmental BIM standards and collaborating with engineers designers and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce clear and accurate structural drawings and Revit models.
  • Conduct site inspections and assist with surveys as required.
  • Contribute to the development of departmental drawing / BIM standards and QA procedures.
  • Translate manufacturers details onto working drawings and models.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and the wider construction team.
  • Ensure adherence to company processes and standards at all times.
Essential Requirements
  • HNC / HND in construction or BIM-related discipline with 3 years UK experience or 5 years relevant Revit experience in a UK-based structural / civil consultancy.
  • Experience in Revit-based reinforced concrete modelling and detailing.
  • Experience in Revit-based structural steel modelling / detailing.
  • Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with engineers.
  • Ability to produce accurate Revit models and structural drawings from engineering designs.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing multiple projects concurrently.
