Overview

Revit Technician — Permanent position, located in Canvey Island, Essex. Salary negotiable depending on experience. Benefits include Pension, Cycle to Work Scheme, On-site Parking, Additional Leave for long-serving employees, and Staff Events.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our clients based in Essex. They lead in architectural design and measured surveys & BIM modeling across Essex, London & the UK. With a wide range of diverse projects from planning to visual concepts, they provide architectural design solutions to a range of clients including individuals, contractors, local businesses, global retailers and multinational corporations. This established & vibrant BIM modeling company uses the latest technology and CAD drawing to deliver bespoke construction packages as a Revit Technician.

Due to a large influx of projects and expansion, the client is looking for a Revit Technician to join their team. Your role will be to produce 2D and 3D BIM-ready models from point cloud data to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities
  • To produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM-ready models from point cloud data measured by our experienced team of in-house surveyors to a high quality and accuracy as a Revit technician
  • Collaborate with external modelling suppliers to ensure project efficiency.
  • Ensure BIM projects meet client expectations and company standard
  • Prepare BIM models/content for coordination meetings.
  • Follow BIM execution plans and workflow criteria as a Revit Technician
Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience in technical detailing, construction detailing, and coordination
  • Experience within commercial fit-out or retail interiors would be beneficial
  • Knowledge of Revit essential and 2D / 3D AutoCAD / Navisworks advantageous
  • Desirable - experience working on Large BIM Level 2 projects
  • CAD from Point Clouds working from surveying data bonus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Portfolio of work examples
  • Full UK Driving license
  • Full Eligibility Right to work in the UK
