OSTTRA’s Finance team requires a recently qualified accountant to join the Revenue FP&A team. OSTTRA is the home of MarkitSERV, Traiana, TriOptima and Reset businesses that offer post‑trade services to a community of 10k+ clients. There is significant change within finance as we work to build a fully standalone finance function and develop the reporting and analysis we provide. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety and is intellectually curious. While you will have regular responsibilities, this role will have changing deliverables as we respond to the needs of shareholders, the finance function and the broader business.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Reporting & Analysis:
- Own the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual revenue reporting and analysis, including bookings, churn and recognised revenue.
- Conduct deep‑dive variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast) on revenue drivers (e.g., volume, price, client segment) and provide insightful commentary on key performance drivers and trends.
- Support the development of dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on revenue, client metrics and sales performance.
- Revenue Forecasting & Budgeting:
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and periodic financial re‑forecasts specifically for revenue and related operational metrics, working closely with Commercial and Sales teams.
- Develop and maintain robust revenue models to support accurate forecasting of subscription, usage and other revenue streams, including scenario planning for new products or pricing changes.
- Business Partnering:
- Collaborate closely with Commercial, Sales and Product teams to understand their financial needs and provide financial insights that support pricing, packaging and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Assist in ad‑hoc financial analysis projects focused on revenue growth opportunities, client profitability and sales commission calculations.
- Process Improvement & Data Integrity:
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and improvements within revenue forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy of client, contract and usage data used in financial systems for revenue recognition and reporting.

Skills and Requirements
- Recently qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on revenue analysis, drivers and financial modelling.
- Personable with good communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently in completing assigned duties; managing competing priorities for multiple stakeholders.
