Overview

Retail Supervisor - Full Time, 39 hours. Location: Hyndburn Retail Park, Blackburn (postcode: BB1 3HT).

We are recruiting for a permanent, 39 hour full-time position with shifts across 5 days from 7 each week. For full-time roles, availability flexibility across the week, including weekends, is required.

  • Hourly pay rate of £13.11 with a minimum of 39 hours per week (minimum £511 per week).

Responsibilities
  • Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
  • Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean, and tidy shop.
  • Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders, and develop your team of retail assistants.
  • Take responsibility for control of operational costs including shrinkage, waste, and payroll.
What you will need

  • People skills to build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Trustworthy and reliable as part of a small team.
  • Some experience as a supervisor, team leader, or manager in retail or similar industries is helpful, but strong potential and a willingness to take the first steps in retail management are welcome.
