Overview

Retail Supervisor - Full Time, 39 hours

We are looking to recruit a new retail supervisor for our shop in Filton, Bristol. This is a permanent 39 hour full time position with a variety of shifts, 5 days from 7 each week. For full time positions, we generally require full flexibility including weekends.

• Hourly pay rate of £13.11 with a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours per week (at least £511 per week).

Responsibilities

• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager's absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop your team of retail assistants.
• Take responsibility for controlling operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

Requirements

• A friendly, positive, hardworking approach to work.
• A people person who can build strong working relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Trustworthy and reliable as an important part of a small team; dependability is essential.
• Some experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industry is advantageous, but determined applicants will be considered for a first step into retail management.
