The Role

As the Retail Supervisor, you will be instrumental in ensuring the store thrives as a key source of income while maintaining its reputation as a welcoming hub for the community. You will:

  • Support the Retail Manager in day-to-day operations.
  • Showcase your creative flair through exceptional merchandising.
  • Manage stock, from sorting and pricing donations to maintaining inventory.
  • Inspire and mentor volunteers to develop their retail skills.
  • Handle essential administrative tasks such as till reconciliation, banking, and arranging deliveries.

Your contribution will directly support the charitable goals of our client while offering you the satisfaction of seeing your efforts create tangible results.

About You

To thrive in this role, you should bring:

  • Solid experience in a retail environment, with a strong understanding of customer needs.
  • Previous supervisory or management experience.
  • Outstanding merchandising skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, enabling you to engage with volunteers and customers alike.
  • A passion for teamwork and a motivation to lead and inspire others.
  • Due to the nature of the role, you must hold a UK driving licence and have your own vehicle.
