Retail Stock Assistant – Job Description

Retail & Asset Solutions are hiring Retail Stock Assistants for immediate starts with a salary of £13.78 per hour inclusive of holiday pay (£12.30 hourly + £1.48 holiday pay). This role will involve working from the harness through to counting stock on customer sites, using handheld scanners and precise counting methods.

Key Skills

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to work unsocial hours including early mornings and nights.
• Can‑do attitude and ability to work long shifts when required.
• Quick learner and adaptable to changing technology.
• Experience with handling stock is an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner.
• Stand for prolonged periods during shifts.
• Travel between different retail customer sites as required; transport is provided via minibus.
• Collect and organise stock data for inventory management.
