We are currently recruiting for a Retail Sales Advisor to work the following:

  • 30 hours a week, Tuesday afternoon (11:45 am – 5:45 pm) then Wednesday, Thursday & Friday (8:45 am – 5:45 pm) – some flexibility will be required.
  • Hourly Rate £12.30 / Annual Salary £19,188

What will I be doing as a Retail Sales Advisor?
  • Deliver first-class customer service in line with Nisbets expectations, ensuring all customers’ needs are met and customers repeatedly return.
  • Take ownership of contributing to store sales targets and KPIs including Revenue, Margin, Conversion, Footfall, Quotes and ATV to maximise profitability of the store.
  • Contribute to the store outreach plan, with the use of your own local knowledge, which may include but is not limited to outbound sales calls, visiting customers and participate in meetings and events in store.
  • Partake in general shop floor duties, including stock replenishment and processing deliveries.
  • Ensure Visual Merchandising standards are met to drive customer engagement and repeat customer through maximizing Store KPIs.
  • Accurately complete stock auditing tasks in line with managers guidance.
  • Process customer payment transactions whilst adhering to policy.
  • Be accountable for reading, understanding, and adhering to all retail policies communicated by your line manager.
  • Uphold great standards of cleaning in areas of shop floor, back areas, windows, fitting rooms to create a healthy environment for customers and colleagues.
  • Treat all visitors to the store with respect and consideration using training provided to assess and approach difficult situations with the aim of a positive solution.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for all visitors to the store.
  • Proactively ask questions to ensure comprehension of all working practices and procedures.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for customer experience and satisfaction with a proactivity and willingness to go the extra mile to find the right solution for the customer. They should take pride in personal and store standards, continuously looking for ways to improve the customer experience.

  • We need a good level of IT literacy as you will be preparing quotes for customers and operating different systems and using Excel, Word and Outlook.
