Job summary

A leading UK merchandising company is seeking an Experienced Retail Merchandiser in the Hexham area. This flexible position requires approximately 2 hours of work per week, with an hourly wage of £14.12. Key responsibilities include visiting major retailers to complete merchandising tasks and building relationships with store staff. Applicants must have their own transportation for moving promotional materials and stock. Holiday pay and referral bonuses are offered, along with ongoing training and support.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising preferred.
• Driving license and own vehicle required.
• Comfortable using a phone or tablet for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores to complete merchandising tasks and audits.
• Negotiate additional displays to drive sales.
• Carry promotional materials to and from stores.
• Build rapport with staff and customers.
• Engage in stock movement when required.

Job description

Experienced Retail Merchandiser needed in the Hexham area. Approx 2 hours per week*. £14.12 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start immediately, with long-term, ongoing work available (flexible to suit you) Use of a car is essential as you will need to take point of sale (POS) into the store.

Ideal location: Northumberland, United Kingdom, NE46

Territory covering: Hexham (you will be required to cover stores within 10 miles of here)

Merchandiser responsibilities:

• You will be visiting major high street stores, completing tasks such as merchandising, audits, and placing of point-of-sale (POS)
• Driving sales by negotiating additional displays
• You will need your own transport as sometimes you may need to carry promotional displays/materials which occasionally may be sent to your home
• Building rapport with colleagues and customers whilst in the store.
• You will need a Phone or Tablet for reporting on our App and have a good understanding of taking quality photos and giving insightful feedback when required
• You may be expected to move stock when merchandising - some lifting will be involved at times
