Overview

Are you driven to make shelves irresistible to shoppers? If you have a knack for spotting what looks good and creating eye-catching displays with an eye for detail, eXPD8 is looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in the TD1 3AT area. You’ll be part of a field-based retail merchandising team working on behalf of exciting household name brands. You will be based in one area, with work opportunities across a variety of stores.

You will be responsible for ensuring fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked.

Sunday 11:30 - 16:00

Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed.

Responsibilities

• Compliance and Standards: You’ll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance.
• Planograms: You’ll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards.
• Product Placement and Replenishment: You’ll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
• Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You’ll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
• Communication and Relationships: You’ll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
• Feedback: You’ll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores.

• Experience of, or a passion for, merchandising, retail and/or customer service
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to take ownership of your work within set time frames and use your own initiative to find solutions
• Pride in delivering great standards and service for our clients
• Comfort with manual handling and moving products from warehouse to shopfloor
• Willingness to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits (extra pay)
• Confident using a company tablet to download briefs, take photos and answer questions about tasks
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car is a bonus
