A rural NHS Trust in Bury St Edmunds is seeking a part-time Resuscitation Practitioner. The ideal candidate will be a registered nurse, ODP, or paramedic with strong teaching abilities and at least three years of post-registration experience. Responsibilities include delivering resuscitation training and supporting staff with current guidelines. An opportunity has arisen within WSH Deteriorating Patient Team Service for a Resuscitation Practitioner (s). This post is open to RN, ODP's and Paramedics, and can be offered flexibly.
Resuscitation Services are looking for an enthusiastic member of staff to join an established team. The applicant should possess teaching skills, with the ability to adapt their style for the diverse groups of staff requiring resuscitation education.
Applicants need three years post registration experience in a related acute area (I.e. ED, Acute Medicine, CCS etc).
The applicants should possess a relevant teaching qualification and / or an up to date Resuscitation Council (UK) Instructor Course (EG mentorship, ILSi, GIC etc.). In addition, the applicant's knowledge should be up to date with Resuscitation Council (UK) and European Resuscitation Council guidelines, and be able to deliver these guidelines and related issues in a formal and informal teaching setting.
