Tim Hortons is expanding across the UK and we need brilliant people to join our team. Location: L9 5AN. Salary: Hourly paid. Job Type: Full-time & Part Time available. Tim Hortons is part of the fabric of Canada with over 5,000 quick service restaurants worldwide, serving over 2 billion cups of freshly brewed coffee. We put customers at the forefront of everything we do and are looking for outgoing Restaurant Team Members to join the team on a permanent basis to ensure an exceptional brand.

As a Restaurant Team Member, you will provide and create exceptional guest experiences. You may be the first person our guests encounter or you may help produce bakery items that our guests love. Your energy and passion for guest service will help you be a top team member in this fast-paced environment. You will have a positive attitude and be a strong team player with a focus on the customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming every customer with a smile and being genuinely friendly at all times
  • Delivering fast, friendly and accurate service to all customers
  • Attempting to resolve simple customer enquiries and referring difficult enquiries to a Manager
  • Ensuring food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards
  • Carrying out temperature checks and recording as per company process
  • Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per cleaning chart
  • Following critical standards for raw and finished product quality, service speed, cleanliness and sanitation
  • Adhering to restaurant performance standards for crew stations and as directed by the shift manager
  • Being aware of the goals and targets of the restaurant and contributing to achieving them
  • Maintaining operational and kitchen areas to exceed customer cleanliness, comfort and convenience expectations including restocking of workstations
  • Reporting all work-related near misses, injuries and illnesses as soon as possible
  • Following correct procedures and reasonable instructions including wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when instructed
Qualifications
  • Positive team player with previous customer service experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on the customer
  • Flexibility to work a range of hours (including early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends)
  • Passion for fantastic customer service and an interest in coffee
