Resourcer - Industrial Recruitment (Busy Desk)

Vanta Staffing - Maidenhead (just off the A404)

Hours: 40 hours per week (we will consider part-time or flexible hours)

Salary: Dependent on experience | Start: ASAP

On-call: Some on-call work may be required

Vanta Staffing are looking for an experienced Resourcer to join our very busy Industrial recruitment desk in Maidenhead (just off the A404). This role is heavily focused on CV screening, filling bookings, and speaking to candidates all day, so you'll need to be organised, quick-thinking and confident on the phone.

Key Responsibilities

• High-volume CV screening and shortlisting for Industrial roles (warehouse/production/pick-pack/hygiene/FLT etc.)
• Proactively sourcing candidates via job boards, databases, referrals and social media
• Filling daily bookings—confirming availability, sharing job details, and getting workers to site
• Speaking with candidates constantly: screening, interviewing, booking shifts, checking attendance, and keeping workers engaged
• Coordinating start dates, shift details, inductions and last-minute cover
• Keeping the CRM accurate and up to date, maintaining compliance (RTW checks, documentation)
• Supporting the wider branch team to ensure service levels and fill rates stay high
• Taking part in an on-call rota as required to support out-of-hours queries/cover

What we're looking for

• Recruitment experience is essential (industrial/high-volume is strongly preferred)
• Confident communicator with a strong phone manner and people skills
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly when priorities change
• A genuine team player—reliable, supportive, and happy to muck in
• Strong organisation, attention to detail, and resilience under pressure
• Good IT skills (CRM systems, job boards, Outlook/Excel)
