A global technology services firm is seeking a Resource Planning & BI Manager to lead Workforce Planning and MI functions. This role involves managing a team, ensuring accurate capacity planning, and delivering operational insights through advanced analytical methods. We are seeking a Resource Planning & BI Manager to lead our Workforce Planning and MI/Insight functions within the Operational Excellence team in ADP’s Services organization!
Location: Preferably our Cheadle office however we are also open to someone being based out of our Staines office
Hybrid working: 3 days in office and 2 days from home
This role is responsible for shaping and driving our resource strategy, capacity planning, performance reporting, and business intelligence across UK, Ireland, and Sweden. You will manage a team that includes Planning Analysts and MI & Insight Analysts, ensuring the delivery of accurate forecasts, productivity monitoring, operational insights, and leadership reporting that enable optimal service performance and informed decision-making.
As a strategic thought partner to Service Delivery and Senior Leadership, you will elevate data-driven planning, enhance operational transparency, and lead continuous improvement in planning and reporting processes.
Leadership & Strategy: Proven experience managing high-performing analytical or planning teams, ideally in a shared services or service delivery context. Ability to think strategically and translate data into operational and financial impact.
Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and workforce planning/forecasting tools. Strong data visualisation and storytelling capabilities; experience in SQL or data modelling is a plus.
Analytical Thinking: High level of analytical capability, with ability to spot trends, influence planning decisions, and identify root causes.
Process Knowledge: Deep understanding of operational planning, productivity metrics (FWR, ASH), MI, and shared services models.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
