Qualifications

  • Experienced Residential Care Practitioners are needed for high-quality therapeutic care.
  • Candidates must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Prior experience in a Children's Home is desired.

Residential Support Workers (x3)

Shifts: 2 on / 4 off pattern – includes sleep-ins

Hourly Rate: £12.75 – £13.70 (DOE) + £65 per sleep-in

Typical Shifts per Month: 10 to 11 shifts

Estimated Take-Home: Approx. £27,400 – £29,500 Base + £8,580 Sleeps = £35,980 – £38,080

Provision: Solo Children’s Residential Home (EBD, staffed 2:1)

Location: Preston, PR2

Status: New Home Opening – Ofsted registration expected end of August. Sponsorship is not available / Candidates on a Visa will not be considered

About the Home:

A brand-new solo provision located in Preston (PR2), providing specialist care for one young person with EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties). The service is designed for high support needs and will be staffed 2:1 at all times. The home is set to open following the Registered Manager's successful Ofsted registration, anticipated by the end of August.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking to recruit 3 experienced Residential Care Practitioners who are confident, compassionate and committed to providing high-quality therapeutic care in a 2:1 setting.

You must have:

  • An understanding of what a Children's Home is, and it is desired that you have worked in a Children's Home previously
  • A Full UK Driving Licence

You will also need:

  • Experience supporting young people with complex needs
  • A calm, resilient approach and a passion for safeguarding children
