Cicely Haughton School is a residential provision for pupils with Education Health Care Plans for Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties (SEMH). The school aims to make residential pupils feel safe, valued and listened to. We are seeking someone with patience, a sense of humour, energy and a passion for working with young people.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an “Outstanding Residential School” where emphasis is on teamwork, mutual respect and hard work. The successful candidate will be able to co-manage a group of young people to enhance independence, resilience and self-confidence through nurture, leisure and community-based activities. Emphasis is placed on improving daily life skills such as personal care and independence. An extensive induction and training programme will be provided, with support to complete relevant qualifications and opportunities for professional development.
