A leading Therapeutic Children's Home company in Melksham is seeking Therapeutic Residential Workers to support vulnerable children. This role offers a starting salary of £24,096 plus bonuses, alongside fully funded specialist training. Ideal candidates will have experience with vulnerable young people and must possess a full driving license. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required. On offer is a fully funded, industry accredited training programme which offers you an excellent specialist training in managing behaviours such as Trauma, Sexual Exploitation and Attachment Disorders on top of a Diploma Level 3 Residential Childcare. This role offers clear progression pathways from Support Worker into Managerial roles.

Please note, this role will include working weekends, sleep overs, morning and evenings so flexibility is required.

Responsibilities of the Therapeutic Residential Worker:

• Experience working as a Support Worker in a similar setting (including SEN or PRU schools, youth work, youth offending, children's social care - desirable as full training given)
• Ensuring to help the children with their emotional, physical and developmental needs.
• Display yourself as an appropriate role model
• Demonstrate a positive attitude, empathy and resilience
• Encourage positive life experiences for the children
