Job summary

A leading health care provider is seeking a committed Registered Care Home Manager for a residential care home in East London. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring quality care for elderly and dementia patients, and maintaining compliance with CQC standards. The successful candidate will earn £46,000 per annum and receive generous benefits, including assistance with public transport and paid holidays.

Qualifications

  • Must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care.
  • Proven track record in residential home management as a manager or deputy manager.
  • Sound knowledge of CQC and applicable legislation/standards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage risks to service users and provide support.
  • Ensure timely assistance from care staff to service users.
  • Manage the medication process for service users.
  • Organise service user access to healthcare services.
  • Mentor care staff and assess service user needs.
  • Update care plans to reflect care given.
  • Promote a positive culture reflecting service user opinions.
